What is a Cake Smash?
A cake smash photoshoot is a fun and messy experience to help mark the little one's first birthday. The session is lead 100% by the baby, sometimes they want to spend a good bit with the cake and sometimes it will be over in a flash. However, no matter what way it goes I will capture it all and it is always a fun experience for everyone!
What to expect!

1. When you arrive you will already have your personalised set up ready to go! ( This will already be discusses prior to the photoshoot.)
2. Get the cake smash outfit ready to go. If you have chosen the unlimited package I will have this for you ready to go.
3. Bring in the cake!!!!
Make sure to bring the cake and I will set everything up
4. Let the smashing begin!
I know people worry about their little one not wanting to get messy but do not worry we will take our time and make sure they feel comfortable first.
5. After the cake is finished it is time for me to do a quick clean up before we move onto the bath.
6. Remember a towel!
Yes that is correct your little one does in fact go in for a bath because sometimes it is well needed.

When should I book the cakesmash?I would recommend booking before your little ones birthday. Therefore, you have photos back in time for their birthday as the wait time for the images would be 2 weeks. But of course I know life is busy therefore feel free to book it whenever you can!!

How do I pick a theme?If you need inspiration I always think Pinterest is your bestie. Also it may just be as simple as picking blue or pinks. Another way to pick a theme would be what your kid enjoys do they love animals? Disney? or their favourite food who said it had to be cake hahah

What should I bring?CAKEEEE !! Sadly I do not provide the cake so make sure you bring that with you! Outfit for the little one to wear during their photoshoot. If they love a toy or something that would make them smile Some snacks and water after all it is thirsty work being a model. A towel ! This is the number one thing people forget but do not worry I have some but always best to bring your own.

How do we see the photos?I pick the best photos as you can imagine I take so so many and it is my job to find the best ones and edit them for you. After they are all done you will view them from your own private online gallery
